Definition: Total Product Revenue

Updated over 2 months ago

Definition

This is the revenue from all the products sold.

Example

Clinic A has issued three invoices this week:

  1. Invoice 101: $300 for appointments + $50 for products.

  2. Invoice 102: $200 for a physiotherapy session (no products).

  3. Invoice 103: $150 for services + $30 for supplements.

To calculate Total Product Revenue, sum of product sales:

  • Invoice 101: $50 for products

  • Invoice 102: none

  • Invoice 103: $30 for supplements

So, the Total Product Revenue = $50+ $30 = $80.

Notes

  1. All Revenue is Tax Inclusive.

  2. All Revenue is based off of raised invoices, not paid invoices.

  3. See How Revenue Metrics Are Dated for a clear explanation of how invoice dates and reporting periods affect Revenue in Allie.
